Poker Source Online is excited to announce the debut season of the PSO Poker League. Poker Source Online has teamed up with Absolute Poker to host this 4 tournament league spanning 5 weeks in November and December. Each tournament will be held on a Friday night at 9:30pm EST / 6:30pm PST. Please see below for complete details or go to the forum for more information.

Poker League Tournament Dates:
- November 5, 2004
- November 12, 2004
- November 19, 2004
- November 26, 2004 - No Tournament (Thanksgiving)
- December 3, 2004
ALL TOURNAMENTS HELD ON A FRIDAY AND START AT 9:30pm EST/6:30pm PST
Weekly Tournament Rules:
- Buy-in each week is $5 + $1
- Prizes will be distributed each week in accordance with Absolute Poker's standard tournament payouts
- You must register for the PSO Poker League BELOW even if you only want to play in one tournament. You only need to register once and registration is free.
- Each tournament will be No-Limit Texas Hold'em
- The top 3 finishers each week will receive PSO Points (In addition to the Absolute Poker cash payout)
- 1st Place = 1,000 PSO Points
- 2nd Place = 500 PSO Points
- 3rd Place = 250 PSO Points
- League points will be distributed each week toward the final standings based on the following schedule:
- 1st Place = 1,000 points
- 2nd Place = 990 points
- 3rd Place = 980 points
- 4th Place = 975 points
- 5th Place = 970 points
- 6th Place = 965 points
- 7th Place = 960 points
- 8th Place = 955 points
- 9th Place = 950 points
- 10th Place = 940 points
- 11th Place = 939 points
- 12th Place = 938 points
- 13th Place = 937 points
- Each consecutive position past 13th will get 1 point less (14th = 936, 15th = 935, etc)
Overall Leage Rules:
- Poker Source Onine will contribure 250 PSO Points for every player who plays in at least 3 tournaments
- Only your top three finishes count toward the final standings
- The top three finishers of the league will receive PSO Points
- 1st Place = 2,500 PSO Points
- 2nd Place = 1,500 PSO Points
- 3rd Place = 500 PSO Points
- The remaining points will be paid out to EVERYONE who finishes higher than "jackness" in the standings
- Example: 24 people play at least 3 tournaments, so there are a total 6,000 PSO Points up for grabs. The top 3 finishers will get 4,500 of those points. This means there are 1,500 points left over. If "jackness" finishes 12th, those 1,500 points will be divided up equally among the top 11 finishers. This means 1st - 11th will get 136 points each.
